Tom & Sarah's Van

Here's an old photo that MAY be of some interest to those on ROCKINGHAM REMEMBERED and/or ROCKINGHAM MEMORIES.

I have this photo as I took it when I finished lettering the van. It was the summer of 1963 when I worked with Theodore McCroskey, the local sign painter. Sign painting was the closest thing that I could find in Rockingham back then to use my art in summer employment.

That was maybe the last time that I saw that van. I don't know if it was around long or if anybody might remember it.
